Aylesbury Democracy Café

My Life My Say and the Aylesbury Town Council are teaming up to host a Democracy Café in Aylesbury! Join us at The Works on the 24th of April from 5-7pm for a reinvigoration of the 17th-century coffee house tradition, where members of society would come together and discuss local issues.

Democracy Cafés offer a unique opportunity for young people (aged 18-30) to meet and discuss the issues that matter to them. Throughout the event, we will encourage everyone to discuss barriers facing young people and brainstorm solutions to make change in their communities. And, as always, every attendee will dive into these discussions over a free cup of coffee or hot chocolate.
